MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – March 19, 2018 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Patrick Barrett
Also Present: Chris Lynch, Matrix Design

Eric Munson, III, Fire Chief
Chris Lynch of Matrix Design stopped by to answer any questions that the Board of Selectmen may have regarding the offering of Matrix’s service’s for broadband. Eric stated that there are no questions at this time and the board is reviewing all options.
Steve sat with Valerie Bird earlier in the day to review the transfer station fiscal 2019 budget. Steve felt with the staff change it would be best to level fund the budget for fiscal 2019. It had also been recommended that a Book and Clothing box be placed at the Transfer Station and that the board look into the possibility of install a “swap box”. Selectmen Steve moved to authorize, seconded by Patrick. The motion carried unanimously.
Eric Munson, III, Fire Chief presented his fiscal 2019 budget. Tolland fire submitted a budget of $31,975.00 Fiscal year 2018’s budget was $33,015.66. Eric has requested that the Selectboard continue to fund the “Capital Stabilization Account”. Budget was reviewed by the Selectboard and Finance Committee and will be presented as such at the Annual Town Meeting.
Board of Selectmen has scheduled a meeting with Bill Stathis of Crocker Communications to discuss broadband on Thursday, March 22nd.
